In the next 7 days, we will experience an interesting flow of energy and events, so stay calm, tune into your higher self and breathe before responding.
First up, on 17 February 2020, we enter the Mercury retrograde at 8:53am (Singapore time). We remain in this retrograde energy until 10 March 2020, 11:48am. Many of us have had “horror” experiences during the Mercury Retrograde before, including electronics, wifi etc dying on us in the most crucial moment of need, impactful miscommunications, lost items and more. So what does the retrograde bring for us this time?
Be prepared to have a tough time grounding yourself and processing logical information. For those of us that are caught up in the panic around the Corona virus, be careful to rein in your anxiety and manage stress levels, as your immunity system can be impacted, making you more rather than less vulnerable to the virus. If you feel the need to do something to protect yourself, procure essential oils such as clove and thyme as they are anti-viral and anti-microbial. Diffusing them in your environment is beneficial as they protect us against the virus, plus they have a calming effect.
People representing certain aspects of our past blocks may resurface in our lives, either to assist with our evolution or for us to completely release them from our lives. We need to recognise that it is finally time to stop giving them the benefit of the doubt and release them so we can all move forward in compassion and peace. We may also find ourselves inundated with waves of emotions, falling easily into overthinking, delusion, confusion, frustrations and anger. I recommend that you let the emotions rise and pass, and refrain from acting on any of the impulsive actions that might hit you in those states of emotion. Breathe, count to 3 before deciding how to respond.
The retrograde also brings a positive aspect to it this time, as it gives us a chance to get in touch with our spiritual and humanitarian goals, as well as self healing objectives. This is an opportunity for us to rethink, revise and release some aspects of our lives that we recognise as no longer working for us. Once we have done that, we will be able to augment those parts of our lives and actions that help uplift us. Those of us struggling with recurring issues and blocks will find it easier to look at our problems from a new perspective and gain new understanding.
On 20 February 2020, Jupiter forms a sextile to Neptune, increasing our awareness of the collective consciousness and driving our need to form connections with others in order to achieve goals greater than ourselves. We also find it easier to balance our sense of duty and responsibility with our own desires, expectations and dreams.
The New Moon in Pisces rises on 23 February 2020 at 23:32pm, bringing us a short respite from the retrograde energies. This is the time to take a break from the everyday routine, from duties and responsibilities and just give yourself some time to daydream, to meditate, to bask in healing energy, to astral travel or whatever takes your fancy. The New Moon energy can help revitalise you if you open yourself up to receiving. So harness this forward-looking evolutionary energy and look into which areas of your life needs changing now.
