In Singapore and elsewhere in the world, many of us have had to rework our schedules as we stay home in our fight against Covid-19. This abrupt change in activity level has served as a disruption for those of us who have been immersed in routine actions, forcing us to take a break and reconnect with ourselves whether we like it or not. Currently we see a lot of people undergoing bouts of restlessness and emotional fluctuations as their suppressed or hidden feelings start to surface now that there is time and space for clearing to happen.
It is apt that during this period of activity shutdown, we will welcome the advent of the New Moon in Taurus on Thursday 23 April 2020 10.25am (SGT). This new moon rising during our stay home period helps awaken us to our need to regain control over our lives so that we can feel more peaceful, secure and stable. This is the time to evaluate our relationship with the world at large and with ourselves, to understand what genuinely makes us feel fulfilled and happy.
The questions we should be asking ourselves during this time are:
- What do I value in my life?
- Am I happy with my relationship with money and material possessions?
- Am I contented with the state of my close and intimate relationships?
- Am I drawn to creating drama and conflict in my life?
- Do I need to simplify my life?
- Do I need to increase my self worth and love myself more?
- What is my relationship with myself like?
- What is spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically fulfilling for me?
As we evaluate ourselves, we find that we will no longer be reactive, being able to choose our responses instead. We can now choose to reconnect with ourselves, with nature, with those important to us so as to bring us closer to the feeling of contentment and joy. When we reconnect with ourselves, we start to experience the world with our five physical senses and our intuitive sixth sense as well, allowing us to flow and be more aligned with our Highest Good and Self.
This New Moon this April brings with her the willingness to think out of the box and resolve issues in innovative and creative ways. This will also be apparent when we evaluate ourselves as we can focus on new ways of approaching ourselves and our potential. The New Moon also brings a strong healing energy that can help heal old wounds and facilitate release of what no longer serves us.
Please do not hesitate to reach out for healing during this time, whether it is through an online healing session, meditations or distant blessing. Sending one and all much love, healing and blessing during these difficult times.
With love, light & laughter,
