Bridging The Spiritual & Material this New Moon in Taurus

Right after the Super Moon 2 weeks ago, I had a close brush with Death and had to be warded for observation in the hospital for a week. This was not my first brush with Death, but it was one that was completely out of my control and there was nothing I can do except to surrender and rely on my guides, guardian angels and spiritual cultivation to pull me through. I am glad that I succeeded and pulled through with flying colours and made a fast, almost miraculous, recovery. (I will share more about my experience in my blog and during Psychic Circle.)

So my experience prepared me well for the New Moon in Taurus energies that came in today, 12 May 2021, at 2:59am SGT. I was in a quiet and sacred space to re-evaluate my priorities and my relationship with both the spiritual and material aspects of my life. I firmly believe that it is possible to bridge the spiritual and material, and it is our mind that places a barrier of separation between the two. So long as we exist in this physical realm, the material aspects of our world cannot be excluded from our lives. If we want to maximise our potential and create the biggest impact we can for the world, we must do so by bringing our spiritual consciousness and awareness into our material dimension.

So how do we do this? The first step we need to take is to understand our relationship with the material world. How do we view material possessions, money and power? Do they provoke positive or negative emotions in us? Next, we ask ourselves how we perceive the relationship between the material and the spiritual, and observe if we have been separating the spiritual and material in our lives, or integrating it. If the two states are separate for now, then dive deep and seek to discover why.

Now we move on to asking ourselves what is valuable in our lives and are we paying enough attention to cultivating these assets and resources we deem valuable. Or have we been wasting time chasing after illusions?

Finally take stock of our core identity. Do we know our own essence, our heart and our identity? Or is our identity made up of bits and pieces of other people’s expectations, judgement and general societal conditioning? Time to strengthen our self-belief and challenge ourselves to be honest with who we are.

This is not an easy path, so do reach out for guidance, healing and blessings.

Sending one and all love, light, laughter and blessings.

With love, light & laughter,
