A therapeutic massage that helps do the following:
LDT was re-developed by Dr Bruno Chickly and is a gentle and non-invasive technique that works through the body’s interstitial and lymphatic system to activate the body liquid circulation and stimulate the functioning of the immune and nervous systems.
Lymph is a fluid that originates in the connective tissue spaces of the body. The lymphatic system fine tunes the drainage of the interstitial (connective tissue) which evacuates the water and excess substances. It also transports large proteins, foreign bodies, pathogenic substances (germs, toxins etc).
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) was pioneered and developed by osteopathic physician John E. Upledger following extensive scientific studies from 1975 to 1983 at Michigan State University, where he served as a clinical researcher and Professor of Biomechanics.
CST is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system - comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.
Using a soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel, practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system.
By complementing the body's natural healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.
The services are intended for general purposes only and are not intended to be a substitute for professional medical treatment.
“I came to the session feeling exhausted – mentally and physically. In the 60 mins session, Mary helped my body come to a state of total relaxation. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this to anyone to experience the power of Touch! Great job, Mary!”- Theresa Lim
