WOP! Time to Receive & Give

Women of Passion organised an event on Sunday 1 March 2020 to help raise funds for HOME Singapore
that aids migrant workers who find themselves victims of human rights violations and suffer abuse and exploitation.

 

 

Pamela Akasha Kaur

Pamela Akasha Kaur is a certified KRI Kundalini Yoga Teacher and Conscious Pregnancy Yoga Instructor. She has been practicing and teaching Kundalini Yoga since 2012. Pamela holds sacred space for the practice of Mandala Temple Dance, Womb Mandala and Gong Sound Healing with relevant accreditation, experience and knowledge.
The Akashakti Space in Singapore is where she holds her weekly sessions and events. The space is based in the pristine residential area of the East Coast Singapore, the Akashakti yoga space specialises in multiple practices including Kundalini Yoga, Conscious Pregnancy yoga, Gong Sound Healing Therapy, Mandala Temple Dance, Womb Mandala including other Sacred Practices for Women. It is the platform through which she shares her knowledge by conducting these wise, intuitive practices with relevance.

Humanitarian Organization for Migration Economics [“H.O.M.E.”] is a Singapore-based charity founded in 2004. HOME is dedicated to empowering and supporting migrant workers who find themselves victims of human rights violations and suffer abuse and exploitation.

They provide immediate crisis intervention as well as long-term support such as education and training programmes to achieve our goal of enhancing the wellbeing and future economic prospects of migrant workers. HOME also seeks to promote the diverse voices of migrant workers in Singapore through outreach projects, and public education on issues affecting them. Three pillars guide them: Welfare, Empowerment and Advocacy.
